Job Description:

SpanIdea is seeking a talented and experienced Software Development Engineer (SDE) to join our team. As an SDE, you will work closely with Team Leads, Product Managers, and SDET teams to gather data, estimate project timelines, and develop optimal scalable solutions. We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of algorithms and data structures, strong experience with Node.js, and the ability to follow best coding practices throughout the entire software development lifecycle. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Team Leads, Product Managers, and SDET teams to gather data and estimate project timelines.
• Understand product specifications and develop optimal scalable solutions.
• Follow best coding practices throughout the process of designing, development, and testing.
• Communicate effectively through email and in-person discussions.

Skillset:

• Deep understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Strong experience with Node.js.
• Experience with MVC frameworks and web/client-based server architecture.
• Familiarity with structured and unstructured databases.
• Ability to translate product specifications into engineering actionable tasks.
• Proficiency in navigating and structuring codebases.

Requirements:

• 3 to 6 years of relevant experience as a Software Development Engineer.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Node.js.
• Familiarity with MVC frameworks, web/client-based server architecture, and databases.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
