DevOps Lead

Job Description:

SpanIdea is seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Lead Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Lead, you will play a crucial role in creating and implementing software deployment strategies to ensure the successful deployment of software in the work environment. Your expertise will contribute to improving the performance and efficiency of the team by identifying and implementing data storage methods such as clustering.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Possess at least 4 years of relevant experience in DevOps.
• Demonstrate proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Hands-on experience with major DevOps tools including Git (SCM), Docker containerization, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Ansible Tower.
• Knowledge of version control systems like GIT/GitHub/GitLab/AWS CodeCommit.
• Extensive knowledge in designing and implementing DevOps practices for version control, compliance, infrastructure as code, configuration management, build, release, and testing using AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, or AWS DevOps. Strong DevOps experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) is essential.
• Experience in working with IaaS and PaaS systems such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azure.
• Understanding of Microservices Architecture and API Management.
• Good understanding of Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Proficiency in monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch, New Relic, and DataDog.
• Experience with AWS services including S3, IAM, Route53, EC2, VPC, Auto Scaling, CloudWatch, ELB, SNS, and Amazon RDS.
• Familiarity with web servers such as Apache, Apache Tomcat, Nginx, and Windows IIS Server.
• Basic understanding of security services including NACL, Security Groups, Amazon KMS, AWS WAF.
• Hands-on experience in Unix Shell Scripting and Linux environment.
