Automation Lead

Job Description:

SpanIdea is seeking an Automation Lead to join our team. As an Automation Lead, you will be responsible for developing software automation for programmable infrastructure using Python. The successful candidate will be involved in scoping features, creating and automating system/solution test plans focused on feature verification and deployments. Primary Responsibilities:

• Possess at least 5 years of hands-on experience in automated testing using Selenium with Python.
• Expertise in Python programming.
• Prepare, execute, and maintain automation scripts.
• Hands-on experience with pytest.
• Experience in developing test automation frameworks.
• Identify gaps and suggest process improvements related to software automation and existing automation frameworks.
• Proficient in working with git version control repositories (gitlab/github/bitbucket).
• Hands-on experience in CI/CD integration using Jenkins/Gitlab/CircleCI.
• Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing.
• Strong influencing skills to work with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Take end-to-end ownership of test automation development, execution, and delivery.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in automated testing using Selenium with Python.
• Expertise in Python programming.
• Experience with pytest.
• Strong knowledge of developing test automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with git version control repositories (gitlab/github/bitbucket).
• Hands-on experience in CI/CD integration using Jenkins/Gitlab/CircleCI.
• Strong bug tracking and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and take ownership of tasks.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
